2. Clean It

Silence threshold -45 dB

Lower is less aggressive. Higher cuts more quiet audio. Start around -45 dB.

Safety padding 40 ms

Keeps a tiny bit before and after the sound so the first hit does not get chopped.

Edge fade 8 ms

Small fade-in/out to prevent clicks at the beginning or end.

Trim dead air from the start and end Normalize volume after processing

3. Build the Loop

Smooths the join between loop repeats. Use 10–40 ms for drums/beats.

This first version only trims the beginning and ending dead air. That is safer for music because silence in the middle may be part of the rhythm, groove, or pickup.
