Established Country Cover Band Wanted - Deadline 6/30/2026

WKRD Label is currently looking for one strong, professional country band located in Central Pennsylvania for upcoming paid gig opportunities. We have many paid events coming in that are not yet filled. Bands should submit their EPK and videos first so WKRD can review the right fit before scheduling a formal interview.

Paid Gigs Available Corporate events, campus gigs, private parties, outings, fairs, openers, and more. Bands must be willing to travel up to 4 hours and perform country cover songs people know and love.

Who We Are Looking For

As of now, WKRD Label is looking for one established country band located in Central Pennsylvania. This should be a band that is already stage-ready and able to perform reliable, crowd-friendly country cover sets.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 4 hours for the right paid gig
  • Must be good, clean, professional, reliable, friendly, and respectful
  • Must be able to represent WKRD Label and the event professionally
Important:

We are not looking for an unprepared project or a band that still needs to learn how to play live. We need a professional country band that can handle real events, communicate clearly, show up on time, and keep the crowd happy.

Gig Pay Information

Prices per gig vary based on the client, location, event type, travel needs, schedule, and performance length. The numbers below are examples of the kind of opportunities WKRD has seen come through.

Average performance times are often around 2 to 4 hours. Exact pay, set time, travel, production needs, and expectations vary by gig.

WKRD Label receives and reviews different types of live music opportunities. We need a country band that can handle a variety of professional settings. This is not a guarantee for evryday gigs, this is a chance for your band to have more gigs, CD's, radio plays, get known and be represented by a label.

WKRD Label Booking Terms

All gigs connected through this opportunity will come from WKRD Label. WKRD Label keeps 10% for bringing in, organizing, or connecting the booking opportunity.

  • 10%WKRD Label keeps 10% of gig pay from bookings we bring in.
  • The band must communicate professionally and respond in a timely manner.
  • All final gig details should be confirmed before the band accepts the event.
  • Band should be ready to provide an EPK, photos, promo links, videos, set list, stage plot, and contact information if requested.

Professional Expectations

Because these are paid opportunities, the band needs to be able to represent itself and WKRD Label professionally.

  • Clean, crowd-friendly song choices for the event type
  • Reliable transportation and travel readiness
  • Respectful attitude toward clients, staff, venues, and audiences
  • Professional communication before, during, and after each gig

What Bands Should Have Ready

Interested bands should be ready to show that they are serious and prepared. Having these materials ready makes it easier for WKRD Label to match you with the right events.

Live ProofLive performance video, band hello video, photos, set list, and examples of songs you cover.
Professional MaterialsEPK, website, social links, promo photos, stage plot, tech rider, and input list if available.
Booking DetailsMinimum rate, preferred gig types, equipment needs, travel requirements, and availability.
Tip: If your band does not have an EPK yet, use the WKRD EPK Builder first. A clean EPK makes it much easier to submit your band to serious paid gigs.

Song Requirements

This opportunity is for a country cover band that can perform songs people recognize and enjoy. Original music is great, but these event opportunities are mainly looking for familiar country songs that work for crowds.

  • Must perform popular country cover songs people know and love.
  • Should be able to adjust the set for different audiences and event types.
  • Should have enough material for an average 2 to 4 hour performance.
  • Should keep the set professional, clean when required, and appropriate for the event.

How to Submit Your Band

To be considered, bands should send the Site Admin a complete submission package. This helps WKRD Label review your sound, professionalism, personality, location, and fit for upcoming paid gigs before scheduling an interview.

1. EPKSend your Electronic Press Kit with band bio, photos, links, contact info, set list, and booking details.
2. Live Performance VideoSend a video that shows what your band really sounds like live. Clear audio and real stage energy are helpful.
3. Band Hello VideoSend a casual group video saying hello, sharing names, what each member does, and why you want this opportunity.
4. Location + ContactInclude your city/state, phone number, email, travel range, and best contact person.
5. AvailabilityLet us know how often your band can travel, what days work best, and any schedule limits.
6. Extra InfoShare anything else you want WKRD to know. We love babbling. Be natural, be yourselves, and have fun.

This does not need to be stiff or overly polished. We want to see the real band. Say hello, introduce each member, tell us what each person does, explain why you want the opportunity, and share anything you feel matters. Be natural, be yourselves, and have fun with it.

Review and Interview Process

WKRD ReviewWe review your EPK and both videos to check sound, professionalism, personality, reliability, and fit.
Selected BandsIf selected, WKRD Label will contact the band for the next step and a proper video interview.
Possible Early CallIf we really like your band, we may call earlier than the appointment just out of pure excitement.
